KATHRIN GANSER's research focuses on the interplay of media aesthetics in technical images. She uses geo-referenced images and maps (street views) of selected urban spaces. In her current reserach she interrogates the geometry of city planning in contrast to her own photographic perspective, asking questions about the expanded viewpoint and perception of the observer. For the series she will present “Between Visualization and Visuality”, an inquiry into space-related visualization along the series lead - "how to show?" – The artist will be present at the opening and on appointment.
