In Advance explores the concept of the readymade gesture within the context of contemporary art and broader culture.

Setting up a dialogue between expanded photomedia and sculptural practices, the show looks at different forms of domestic and commercial architecture as sites of play and transgression. Reflecting on alternate modes of living, consumption, and signification, it examines the performance of subjectivity within the realms of the everyday and the promises of a utopian future.
