Javier Campano

Linked initially to the magazine Nueva Lente, Javier Campano (Madrid, 1950) belongs to a brilliant generation of photographers which emerged in Madrid in the mid-seventies. The exhibition displays about 100 photographs in which the artist offers a poetic vision of the city, of fleeting, passing things. They are images captured by a pedestrian who regards himself as a traveller even in his own city; they are photographs full of time, in which we discover new emotions and another look at our immediate environment.
