The artist is concentrated on the concept of power – who has got the power, how is it used, what kind of effect has it on our mutual world. Roepstorff describes her artistic method as ‘appropria-arranging’ and to clarify that she uses existing material (that have distinct meaning in its original context), which she re-organizes and composes in new apparently illogical ways. Through this her images create new context and obtain new meaning, which involve potential for a more critical conception of phenomena’s and its alternatives of reality. The work of Roepstorff are political engaged and embrace through its specific choice of subject from terrorism to politics of sex.
