opening June 20, 2010, 7 P.M. opening performance by Ensemble WILHELM GROENER: "33 sketches"

Forever and a day was founded by the artists Ben Cottrell and Mariola Groener in May 2002. The exchange of international artists in Berlin, the possibility to show in an environment independently created and maintained by artists and the steady communication and creation of dynamic networks were the basis of this project space. At the moment Forever and a day Büro is no longer tied to one fixed place. The project manifests itself in different locations in Berlin and beyond.

For the Center for Contemporary Art CCA in Plovdiv the team of Forever and a day Büro collaborated with Bulgarian based curator Jakob Racek. The exhibition´s title LONTANO derives from Italian „away“ - a compositoric term indicating that a passage must be played by a musician who is backstage so that this sound impression is to be distinguished clearly from the stage acting musicians. Works by Berlin based Artists such as Ben Cottrell, Matthias Dornfeld, Andrew Gilbert, Mariola Groener, Erwin Kneihsl, Markus Selg and Astrid Sourkova.
