Man Ray / Meret Oppenheim

Emanuel Radnitsky, better known as Man Ray, acquainted himself at an early age with European modernism and soon became immersed in the modernist and budding surrealist movements. In many ways, his photographic experimentalism formulated and realised the ideas and imagery of surrealism. The exhibition takes place at the same time as Fashion Art, and Man Ray was among those who early on discovered the zeitgeist of his time in fashion. Pressetext
