Originating from Manhattan in 1996, Martha is the story of legendary American dancer and choreographer Martha Graham, known as one of the foremost pioneers of modern dance. This show has established itself as an alternative dance and theatre production, twice winning a Bessie, the New York dance and performance award.

Richard Move, as Martha Graham, presides over and hosts the evening, presenting loving and often satirical re-stagings of Graham's epic ballets, interweaving fascinating monologues that are both witty and poetic.
