Drawn from the Museum’s permanent collection, Memorials of War examines artists’ attempts to memorialize the immediate impact of the Vietnam Conflict on the nation in the early 1970s. In addition, a selection of works by artists from the 1980s and 1990s focuses on the integration of Vietnam-era images and language into the nation’s collective memory. Featuring prints, sculptures, and photographs, the installation includes works by Robert Morris, Edward Kienholz, Chris Burden, and Vik Muniz, among others. Pressetext
