Muntean & Rosenblum

Working together since 1992, the two Austrian artists make works whose protagonists are the young models of fashion and lifestyle magazines. Appearing in the paintings, films and drawings in strange, artificial postures, they are the symbols of banality and intellectual pathos. The artists’ chief interest lies in the world of teenagers, the construction of identity, its relationship to the icons of pop culture, and the influence of mass media. The exhibition features videos, paintings and installations.
