N55: No Borders Campaign

N55 is an independent artists’ collective based in Copenhagen. Driven by a desire for the devolution of power, property and wealth, N55’s innovative work encourages sustainable living, enabling people to work cooperatively by sharing creative and immediate resources. No Borders Campaign is a new commission produced by the Vardy in collaboration with Design Event 07 that reconsiders regional, national, and international symbolism such as crests, flags, and patriotic anthems.

Flags from No Borders Campaign will be unfurled at a variety of locations including Durham Castle and Newcastle Keep throughout this exhibition.
