Native American Film & Video Festival 2004

This festival aims to present the work of Native Americans, though it also includes productions from another viewpoint, which lead us to reflect on the native question. In this case, the audiovisual medium is an ideal vehicle for the dissemination of ideas and the creation of states of opinion, as well as a strategic resource that, in the hands of Native Americans (or other oppressed groups) helps to balance the effect of the one-track global discourse that is so pervasive today.
