Pae White

MK-G presented the first solo exhibition in a British public gallery by the Californian-based artist. White's artistic practice shifts effortlessly across differing genres and media, from fine art and product design to urban planning and architecture.

White’s work is often low-tech, comprised, for instance, of repeatedly made cardboard cut-outs, delicate wire constructions, suspended mobiles or evocative ephemeral wall paintings.

MK-G's Long Gallery featured three of White’s paper mobile sculptures, 'Chartwell' (2002), 'Chocolate Mint, Almost' (2005) and a new work for commissioned for MK-G 'Overneath' (2005).
