Pleasure Gardens

Idyllic, excessive, grotesque and kitch: escape into the magical world of Pleasure Gardens. Seven artists interrogate the relationship between botanical and manmade worlds through new works in photography, sculpture, video and installation. Exclusively on tour to us from the Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art, Pleasure Gardens plays with the idea of an Edenic escape, and the bounty of nature - fruit and flowers - with some unexpected twists.
