Richard Serra

Richard Serra , organized by Richard Koshalek and Julia Brown Turrell, was the presentation of his recent sculpture at the Geffen Contemporary. The project was the first one-person museum exhibition of the artist's work in Los Angeles. It was later reconfigured and installed at the Guggenheim Bilbao in Spain, April 27-October 17, 1999. The exhibition was accompanied by a catalog documenting Serra's work during the period of 1985-1998.
