press release

Room Temp, a new exhibition at the PLAySPACE gallery at the California College of the Arts features the work of five emerging artists, Alena (Scooter) Rudolph, Brion Nuda Rosch, Will Yackulic, Amanda Eicher and Jeremy Fish who have contributed to the Hot and Cold art zine. This show is part of a city-wide, multi-venue investigation of historic and contemporary zine production curated by the creators of Hot and Cold, Chris Duncan and Griffin McPartland. In conjunction with Yerba Buena Center for the Arts’ exhibition The Zine Unbound: Kults, Werewolves and Sarcastic Hippies, this satellite show will also feature the most comprehensive collection of zines in the Bay Area courtesy of Pond. The library covers the gamut of zine production from how-to-guides to skater fanzines to political manifestos.
