THE TRIP-POP GAME

The Trip-Pop Game follows six artists in their creative journey through icons, symbols, fears and ironies. Anton Corbijn gives us his larger-than-life stars; van der Kaap fascinates us with his enigmatic landscapes; Micha Klein grasps our attention with his psycadelic figures; Gaetano Bodanza dismantles our childhood myths; David Byrne sets himself up in flames; Franko B stands tall in a bath of pure inspiration; Robert Gligorov plays with our eternal fear of Armageddon.

Like the pounding rhythm of trip-pop, the show draws the viewer in a world of colliding images that portray our daily relationship with pop culture and media. These are the images of the new gods, the trendsetters of our existence. The Trip-Pop Game, is a window on the contradictions of the 21st century.
