Thomas Bogaert

Thomas Bogaert (*1967, Dendermonde) attended the Animation Film course at the KASK in Ghent. There, being fascinated by movement, he learnt to paint in a cinematic way. Raoul Servais, one of his teachers, called Bogaert’s work "An example of the crossroads between cinematography and the art of painting; not as moving paintings, but rather a painted movement".
