Tim Etchells

Tim Etchells is an artist and a writer who has worked in a wide variety of contexts, notably as Artistic Director of the world-renowned performance group Forced Entertainment. This practice heavily informs his work as a visual artist, which spans sculpture, performance, photography and installation. This solo exhibition will focus on Etchells’ text projects which explore the relationship between, performance, language and sound. His work will be presented throughout the venue as well as outside of the building. Existing pieces which reference urban space will be shown alongside his neon messages and new work commissioned by Plymouth Arts Centre.
