press release

The Museum of Contemporary Art of USP inaugurates – on September, 29, at 6:30 p.m. – the exhibition TRANSEUNTES – AMÉRICA LATINA, gathering a hundred works among paintings, engravings, sculptures, drawings, objects, assemblages, videos and photographs by artists from 16 countries. Having as a reference the work Transeuntes (1954), by the Chilean Nemésio Antunes, the exhibition tries to reflect about the plastic metaphors of modern and contemporary artists, attentive to the transformations of their time. The curatorship chose three nucleuses for this reflection: "Search for Identity", "Struggles, Dreams" and "Utopias and Between Ruptures and Connections".
