Van Gogh

Number 21 in the Contexts exhibition series will be devoted to one of the great names in art: Vincent van Gogh. More specifically, it focuses on the last three months of the Dutch painter’s life in Auvers near Paris where he painted Les Vessenots. The Auvers period was a brief but remarkably productive one and involved a radical change of direction in Van Gogh’s work which he did not have time to fully develop.
