“Szarek's work is (also) very much a product of our time in the sense of its mutant formalism, and its relation to how we feel the contours of the present being re-shaped around us in everything from sampled and machine music to sneakers of semingly alien manufacture. (Do you walk or float in those?) (...) Szarek's art is make-and-model in liquid form: you're caught between recognition and wonder. His largest piece to date, a wide, undulating diptych wich mirrors and morphs into itself, has been variously described as the Batmobile, a sci-fi gargoyle, wrings speard as if about to fly, and the sculpted curl of an ocean wave. Let's call it the Fiberglass Sublime.” Bob Nickas

Vincent Szarek sculpts works that he creates to be absolutely perfect, both on the surface and in their contours. His sculptures are organic and abstract at the same time. The viewer’s gaze receives a smooth, flowing perception of the work and its environment.
