It is the exhibition "Arbeitskreis 1972-2022, European Constructive Experience" that opened the exhibition season of the Marcello Morandini Foundation.

It is a group show dedicated to Concrete Art, non-figurative art, free from all imitation and reference with the outside world and with a predominantly geometric orientation, of which master Marcello Morandini is one of the most representative exponents.

HISTORICAL NOTES.

Arbeitskreis, a term with a profound meaning that literally means "circle of work." From 1974 until the end of the 1980s the artists of I.A.F.K.G., the International Center for Constructive Art Studies founded in Antwerp in 1972, met regularly organizing in different nations and museums work days discussing themes related to this artistic current.

And this exhibition represents the closing of the circle, the sixteenth meeting organized after a good thirty-five years since the last symposium.
