From 16 September 2004 to 8 January 2005, the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo – centre for contemporary art in Turin presents the all-female group show Non Toccare La Donna Bianca.

The exhibition will present the work of 19 artists from around the world - Micol Assael, Maja Bajevic, Berlinde De Bruyckere, Marlene Dumas, Ellen Gallagher, Carmit Gil, Fernanda Gomes, Lyudmila Gorlova, Mona Hatoum, Michal Helfman, Emily Jacir, Koo Jeung-a, Daniela Kostova, Senga Nengudi, Shirin Neshat, Shirana Shahbazi, Valeska Soares, Nobuko Tsuchiya and Shen Yuan - all of whom use their artistic practise to somehow break the stereotype associated with the cultures that form their background. The works include a variety of media from painting and video to installation and photography and many will be site specific for the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo space in Turin.
