An imposing oil on canvas between Bollywood and the Roman suburbs, diaspora and cultural integration.
An imposing oil on canvas that reinterprets the poster style of the Indian film industry while capturing the South Asian migrant community in its daily life in Rome and its surroundings.
Navin Rawanchaikul’s Ciao da Roma is about the diaspora but also the integration and cultural challenges from stories collected by the artist during his stay in Rome and the Lazio region in 2018. The work will become part of the MAXXI collection.
