ART for The World presents Food, an international traveling exhibition and a selection of short movies in avant-premiere in Geneva at the Musée Ariana, located in the neighborhood of the international organizations and next to the headquarters of the United Nations.

The fascinating question of food is definitely highly complex, simultaneously dealing with survival, health, economy and culture. Food is focused on the preservation of our Mother Earth, the choice of the elements, the poisoning of the agriculture, the consequences of the climate changes, the gap in the feeding distribution and other subjects connected to the topics of Nutrition.

Inspired by the topic of EXPO Milan 2015, Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life, after the Geneva venue, new versions of Food will be exhibited during 2013–2014 at the Spazio Oberdan, Milan, at SESC São Paulo and at MuCEM (Musée des Civilisations de l'Europe et de la Méditerranée) in Marseille.

ART for The World is a NGO (Non Governmental Organization) funded in 1996 in Geneva, associated with UNDPI, the United Nations Department of Public Information, and recognized of Public Utility by the State Chancellery of Geneva. With its large projects around the world, ART for The World aims to mobilize contemporary art and cinema on the most relevant issues of our society. Since 1998, ART for The World collaborates on a regular basis with the Regional Direction of SESC São Paulo (Brazil). In 2005, its sister NGO, ART for The World Europa, was funded in Turin, and since has its executive offices in Milan.
