Cady Noland (born 1956 Washington D.C.) is an artist based in New York. Her work spans collages, sculptures, and mixed-media installations, in which she exposes the underbelly of the psyche, which meets us for example in our fascination for celebrities, violence and psychopathological behavior. In 1991 and 1992 she participated at the Whitney Biennial and 1995 at the documenta 9 in Kassel. Cady Noland studied at the Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York.
